¿CÓMO ENCONTRAR EL m.c.m. Y EL D.C.M.?

Descomponiendo números en sus factores primos (factoreando). Por ejemplo, para encontrar el m.c.m. y el D.C.M entre 24, 32 y 36:

24 = 2 x 2 x 2 x 3

32 = 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2

36 = 2 x 2 x 3 x 3

Entonces:

24 = 2³ x 3 32 = 2⁵ 36 = 2² x 3²

Para encontrar el D.C.M. seleccionamos sólo los factores repetidos en todos los números y los anotamos con su menor exponente.

D.C.M. (24, 32, 36) = 2² = 4

Para encontrar el m.c.m. seleccionamos todos los factores (los repetidos y los no repetidos) y los anotamos con su mayor exponente. (Pueden estar repetidos sólo en algunos números; pero igualmente se los anota una sola vez.)

m.c.m. (24, 32, 36) = 2⁵ x 3² = 32 x 9 = 288
